4 1/2 Pound Rounding Hammer
This is my go to forging hammer, being 4 1/2 pounds it takes some strength to swing but this can be mitigated by choking up on the hammer. I like this hammer because it allows you to work large stock efficiently but also do small delicate work by choking up on the hammer. You can do small work with a large hammer. But it is very difficult to do large work with a small hammer. Equipped with a 12 inch white ash handle.
